Statement for series:

In my work I am currently trying to decipher what makes people who they are, and how they view the world. I am attempting to do so through examining how material possessions, religious ideologies, and war/conflicts affect the political and cultural landscape and the individuals that make up that society. These works contain imagery that I feel represent parts of this society in a subjective way because I feel that there is no real concrete answer to any of these questions. The resulting images are meant to be viewed as results of these ideas and experiences being filtered through my subconscious and conscious, making some connection back to myself as well as give the viewer something to decipher, or relate back to as well.
